I grew up watching my grandmother (Dorothy Biddle) using scissors much like these. And altho’ I will never give up my Joyce Chens, there is something very nice about using these heavy-duty, long-handled shears. The bronze washer resists weathering & keeps the blades aligned, the all steel construction is long-lasting, and the blade can be re-sharpened. The design has been around for more than 100 years… I guess it works!
